Game Forfeit Policy
Keeping sports simple.
General Information: Teams participating in an event expect their opponent to be as diligent and conscientious as their team in being on time and prepared to participate in ALL SCHEDULED GAMES. One of the most disappointing experiences for a team, coach and their fans is to have the opponents fail to show for a scheduled game. Since our inception this has been our Game Forfeit policy.

1. The Team Forfeiting Game: When a team does not show up for a scheduled game that team is assessed a FORFEIT.

2. The Team receives a loss for that and all games that are a no show.
​
3. The Team is expected to play all scheduled games that may remain to be played on the tournament schedule.

4. The Team that FORFEITS a game will be assessed a $100 per game FORFEIT PENALTY. This penalty is due before THE TEAM FORFEITING A GAME will be able to enter any subsequent A Step Up Sports Events.

5. Any game having to be terminated because of a violation to the conduct standards rules will be deemed as a forfeit and subject to the Game Forfeit Policy.

The Game Forfeit Policy may be modified or waived by A Step Up Sports. Any decision by A Step Up Sports as to the application of the Game Forfeit Policy shall be binding upon all teams and participants.
